Workers assigned to carry various tasks in Confined spaces may face numerous risks and health hazards. These workers need to be trained and prepared to work safely in such adverse conditions. Our online OSHA Confined Space Entry regulations course has been formed to educate people who are designated as competent person or supervisors and manage confined space entry and work tasks.

The course covers various aspects of risks and dangers associated with working in confined spaces, OSHA regulations, safety procedures and practices for competent entry supervisors, types of dangers and risk management competencies.

To do this course, it is mandated that candidates must have prior knowledge and Permit/Non-permit for Confined Space Entry.

Course Overview

The OSHA Confined Space Entry Competent Person/Supervisor training course provides basic understanding on various hazardous conditions, criteria for becoming competent person and explains all acceptable secure work conditions. Though as per the regulations, all those who are assigned to work at confined space must be treated as competent person, this course is mainly focused to educate the ultimate authority or competent person at worksite who can be an “entry supervisor”.

Supervisors can be one of more at workplaces depending upon the requirements and each of them is expected to have thorough knowledge and expertise, knowhow to deal with adverse situations, prevailing legislations and training procedures, responsibilities and procedures to get confined space permit procedures.

Every worker who are assigned to work in confined spaces and also the competent persons and supervisors who manage workers and entry and exit of workers at confined spaces must join this course to get thorough knowledge about the risks and hazards and procedures to make working condition safe for all. Apart from this, those who enter the confined space as assistants or attendants and helpers must be trained to remain safe during their stay at such inhospitable work conditions.
