The course also addresses the frequency at which the general industry standard is adopted based on OSHA’s final regulations regarding walking working surfaces and personal fall protection systems. Students are introduced about the industrial safety standard, types of slip, trip and hazards, risk control exercises, preventive controls and safe practices.
This online training is based on the safety requirements formulated by OSHA in 29 CFR § 1910 Subpart D standard which addresses Working Surfaces.
This e-learning safety course provides general understanding about Walking Working Surfaces (General Industry) and importance of keeping them safe for workers. Our experienced tutors have created easy to understand course material for students to understand the importance of creating safe workplace environment and ways to identify workplace dangers such as slippery and uneven floors, cluttered aisles and unsafe stairs/elevators.
This course will also provide ways and means to reduce or eliminate hazards. OSHA on January 17, 2017 had introduced the Walking Working Surfaces and Personal Fall Protection Systems Final Rule, which replaced the earlier established standards in 1971 with some modifications. The Final Rule’s important updates enforce employers to choose the right fall protection system that works best for them.
According to OSHA, workers face impending dangers in walk-ways and elevators while carrying heavy loads and other equipments must join this course to understand the importance of keeping the walking tracks even, safe and not slippery. People who are permanently employed must be entertained to do this course except those who are involved in mining, domestic or agricultural works.
Our OSHA Walking Working Surfaces and Personal Fall Protection Systems Final Rule General Industry has been made with excellent course content prepared by HSE experts along with audio and video clippings and graphics, case studies and hordes of questions to be practiced before the final exam.
Successful students or workers are entitled to receive printable hard copy of completion certificate and also a printed wallet card.
Each candidate, completing this course successfully, will be treated as 0.2 CEUs (or 2 CMEs) expert and can look for good career progression.
