Entry requirements of OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management
To enrol into this course, the learners should:
- Have a Level 6 qualification like the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or any similar Level 6 qualification.
- A bachelor’s degree with applicable experience and knowledge in health and safety.
- Should be 21 years old when starting the course.
Equivalences of OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management
Based on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), the OTHM Level 7 diplomas equal master’s degrees. Still, they have shorter qualifications of 120 credits and learners have to move on to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with the university partner to finish their master’s degree.
Assessment and verification
The internal assessment is conducted by the centre for every unit in the qualification. The OTHM is responsible for conducting external verification. Typically, the credentials are criteria referenced and will be based on the overall achievement of all prescribed learning outcomes.
To get a ‘pass’ for a unit, the learners should submit their evidence showcasing their proficiency in fulfilling the assessment criteria standards and learning objectives.
